Catherine is teaching my daughter sophie, she thoroughly enjoys her lessons. Catherine has excellent horsemanship, which you can see in the photo on the website and how she explains when teaching.

loved the first lesson I had last week, tomorrow will be my second and I'm really looking forward to it.
Catherine is helping me to overcome my fear of horses and is teaching me how to ride and enjoy everything about the horse, honestly one of the best things I have ever started doing, great!

I have been riding for 20 years and had various lessons and instructors. My main interest is in Dressage and with previous lessons I came away feeling that I hadn't really learn't anything or indeed achieved what I wanted to with the horse. Having ridden the majority of the Prelim Dressage tests with no improvement, I stopped entering any competitions.

My first lesson with Catherine was a real eye opener and a unique experience, not only had I been riding incorrectly (having been taught to keep the HEELS DOWN’ is complete rubbish), it is taking me a while to get out of this bad habit amongst others. Subsequently I have also learnt that the horse lets you know when you are getting it right.

Every lesson I go away feeling that I have learnt something new, that I have worked in unison with the horse and that I don’t want the lesson to end.

Anyone who is reading this and has not had a lesson with Catherine – book a lesson today to see for yourself - you will not be disappointed!

I'm thoroughly enjoying my lessons with Catherine! She is an awesome instructor and a great gal to boot! What I particularly like about this riding style is that when you get it right, you feel like you are working in unison with the horse, rather than bending the horse to your will. I’d recommend Catherine’s tuition to everyone, especially to those who like me took the plunge and decided to learn to ride as an adult. Thanks Catherine!!!

Catherine has been riding my Welsh section D for me while I have been recovering from a back injury. I can't thank her enough for the progress she has made with my little mare, she now has a trot and canter to die for. I have been struggling with the canter, but on Saturday I took her out on a hack, and was amazed at the transformation. I can't thank you enough for the progress you have made with my mare, I now feel we can progress towards medium level in dressage. Regards Jackie

I had my first lesson with Catherine yesterday and I feel I have learnt more than in all my previous lessons with other teachers combined. Within 1 hour my balance was so greatly improved and my confidence hightened because she was teaching me how to listen and view the horses responses to my riding and actually I found out that the horse would be telling me when I was getting it right and wrong. When I did get it right the feeling I had to realise the horse was communicating this with me gave such an awe inspiring feeling, to be in unison with a horse is something I had never felt before and I want to have this process repeated everytime I ride and that is why I have booked another lesson next week and now cant imagine anyone else teaching me in the future. Thank you Catherine for your encouraging and enthusiastic nature and thank you for imparting such valuable knowledge to me. I can't wait to continue the journey and look forward to all the other things that you will teach me along the way.

The good news if your reading this as part of a search for a good riding instructor is that you don't have to look any-where else. Catherine isn't just good, she is the best.
Catherine is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects and passes on her expertise in an easily understandable and enthusiastic manner.
Her teaching brings very good results in record time, she has done more to improve my riding and general equestrian knowledge than all the previous instructers put together. So much so that I don't want to use any-one else.
In the short time I've been seeing her she has brought out a transformation on the horse I've been using, so much so that he's like a completely different (and responsive)horse, which is all down to her bringing out the best in me.

I can't praise Catherine highly enough, not just recommeded but highly highly recommended.

Thanks Catherine, you've done wonders !!!

I have just returned from a 1/2hr session with Catherine and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. I have already booked to go again in a week! Her riding tuition is entirely different to what I have learnt throughout the years but is certainly more beneficial for both rider and horse. It has certainly been a thought provoking experience in terms of how a horse reacts to it's rider. Listen to your horse! Many thanks to Catherine!

I've recently returned to riding following an accident 13 years ago.
I have found Catherine friendly, professional and a great instructor. She explains things clearly and is almost as excited as me when I get something right!
I can feel progression and improvement in my riding and am really enjoying re-learning what i was taught as a child...sit up straight...heels down...kick kick..I never want to hear these words uttered to me again.
The yard, although aged like myself is tidy and looked after. all the other staff I have met have been friendly and helpful. The horses are loved and cared for and all look happy.
Mustn't also forget to big up 'Becky' who dispels the rumours about chestnut mares and whom I am enjoying getting to know (even if she thinks there are bogey men by the school)
So thanks to all for making my return almost pain free
